Kenneth Welte – Your Vancouver Island Real Estate Expert

Ken Welte is a Realtor® with Sutton West Coast Realty, serving Vancouver Island from Victoria to the North Island, including Duncan, Nanaimo, Parksville, Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River, Port Hardy, and Port McNeill. With a long track record of top sales performance, Ken and his dedicated team provide expert guidance to ensure every real estate transaction is smooth and stress-free.

Ken is also a CERC-qualified Relocation Professional Realtor® and a registered vendor with Brookfield Global Relocation Services. He specializes in Military, RCMP, and Federal Government relocations, understanding the time-sensitive and unique challenges involved.

Born in Campbell River, BC, and raised in Nanaimo, Ken has an in-depth knowledge of the island’s communities. He studied Science and Social Science at Vancouver Island University (formerly Malaspina College) before earning his Real Estate license from UBC.

Passionate About the Outdoors

When he’s not helping clients, Ken spends his free time camping, exploring the backcountry on his adventure motorcycle, and riding dirt bikes and ATVs. He enjoys discovering remote trails, hidden lakes, and scenic routes across Vancouver Island and beyond.

Community Involvement

Ken has always been committed to giving back. He has supported youth programs, high school rugby, local hockey, and motocross. He was a board member for the Liver Foundation of BC & Yukon, spent 25 years as both instructor and officer with Nanaimo Air Cadet Squadron, and has worked with the Poco a Poco charity, which provides healthcare and medical education in Guatemala.  Ken has been a volunteer with British Columbia Search and Rescue and St John Ambulance or many years.
